June 1 concludes the Chinatown Remixed collective art exhibit in Ottawa's Somerset west district. The show was a resounding success with a tremendous outpouring of community support and interest. I would especially like to thank Ju Xiang Yuan, my partner in crime and temporary gallery. Big plans are already underway for next year's show which will focus heavily on more interactivity and audience participation. Hope to see you there, kittens!

Bio
come here a minute...I want you to see this...
People amaze me. We are, all of us, brilliant, resilient, and waiting for our next big break. We're our own worst enemies and biggest fans.
For me, people represent the most difficult and the most rewarding subjects. The challenge is to distill an entire animate persona into a single static image. The alchemy is delicate. The precipitate is portraiture.
Influences: Diane Arbus, Margaret Atwood, Banksy, Jeffrey Eugenides, Ira Glass, Audrey Kawasaki, Floria Sigismondi, Tom Waits. They are not all photographers, its true, but they are visionaries and story tellers, and I do love the worlds they make.
